Project: Number 7 Subway Line Extension
Details: Lemley international was recently selected, along with their partners (Hill International, The Liro Group and Daniel Frankfurt/HDR), as the construction managers for the Number 7 Subway Line Extension Project in New York City. The project, valued at over $2 billion, will provide better public access to the west side of Manhattan, including the Jacob Javits Convention Center in the Hudson Yards area.

The project will include:

  • Providing 7200 feet of tunnel to accommodate a two-track railroad with two lay-up tracks for storage of six trains (three on each side).
  • Extending the No. 7 Line west from Times Square under West 41st Street.
  • Extending the No. 7 Line south along Eleventh Avenue to the Terminus at 24th Street.
  • Two new stations, comprised of an intermediate station at Tenth Avenue and West 41st Street and a two-track terminal station at Eleventh Avenue and West 34th Street.

Project: Idaho State Capitol Renovation and Expansion
Details: The Idaho State Capitol Renovation and Expansion has come across several obstacles since its launch in 1998. But now, with the guidance of Lemley International and their partnership with 3D/I, it is back on track to be renewed as the architectural representation of Idaho state pride it has served as for over 85 years.

The project will include:

  • Capitol restoration work throughout the Capitol building
  • Underground Capitol expansion
    • Approximately 25,000 square feet on each side of the Capitol
    • Larger Legislative hearing rooms
    • Opportunities to move various functions out of the Capitol Building (such as large mechanical spaces, data centers, kitchens, and dining facilities)
  • Restoration of several buildings in the Capitol Mall
